Education
I attended Sonoma State University in Northern California for part of my undergraduate degree. I finished my B.A. in Psychology at Calfornia State University Fullerton. My graduate studies were completed at Pacific Oaks College in Pasadena where I earned my M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy.
My Philosophy
I am a very warm, caring individual who loves my work immensely. I listen carefully, giving honest and direct feedback. I do not think there is only one way to live life, rather, each person needs to find what works for them. I strive to help my clients find their authentic voice, modify what may not be working in their lives, and live their lives more fully and enjoyably.
My husband and I have been together for over 20 years and have twin toddlers. I draw on my own life and rich personal experience when working with clients. My education and extensive work history are enhanced by my life experience. I understand very well about depression, anxiety, stressful work situations and relationship struggles. I am also deeply aware of the unique pains and personal strain of undergoing infertility treatments and raising multiples. I have a deep respect for all challenges in life and I know the rewards of making it through them.
My Office
My office is very warm and inviting decorated in deep earth tones and dark wood. It is important to me that it feels both professional and comfortable. I have a small waiting room with magazines, bottled water, and soothing music.
